Who here is 100% healthy? Anybody?
You ever wonder why so many of the “Church Leaders” in America are being struck with health issues or die seemingly prematurely? Several 501c3 corporations have people battling this, that or the other thing. Worse yet, leaders are dieing prematurely. If God indicated the life expectancy for man is now 120 years old and we see someone pass away at 60, to me that’s premature. The Word of God promises length of days to the righteous.
Deuteronomy 7:15 NKJV – “And the LORD will take away from you all sickness, and will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you have known, but will lay [them] on all those who hate you.
There’s a serious disconnect taking place…
I used to do work for a 501c3 ministry to share with Muslims the good news of Jesus. When I started working their people would joke, “Get ready for spiritual warfare/bad things to start happening.” I was then told how other people within the first week of working there experienced severe accidents and problems. One guy a few weeks before I started, was on a ladder, fell off and broke a vertebra in his back. Initially I didn’t think much of this, a little weird but, “Okay, accidents happen.”
Fortunately, I never experienced these accidents. I believe a large reason was because I wasn’t a part of the organization, but rather a separate company hired by the ministry, a 1099 contractor. Initially I started as an independent contractor, and then they made me become an employee. Shortly after filing the paperwork as an employee Holy Spirit said, “Tell (your boss – name omitted) you’re done.” This ministry is set up as a 501c3 corporation. I will refer to this ministry as “F”. When I became an employee I had no plans of leaving the ministry. Yet, within a month or less from becoming an employee, the Spirit told me I was done. I won’t go into the finite details of how God confirmed me putting in my resignation at the end of August 2008. His hand was all over my leaving the organization. I was hearing clearly.
As I began to work there the Lord started speaking to me through Jesus’ statement – “Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God.“ If we have freedom of religion in the USA why do we need to incorporate as a non-profit, when the Church is automatically tax exempt? Why do we need to contract/covenant with the government at all? Does our ministry belong to God or to Caesar/government? What are the ramifications of this “agreement”? Are there any ramifications? What other organizations are 501c3? These were just some of the questions I began to ask the Lord about.
At the same time I was becoming more and more aware that the people working at this ministry, generally, all had some sort of health condition, immediate family had health conditions or both. As I read the Scriptures it’s clear that when God’s people follow Him there is victory in all areas of life. Look at the people Joshua took into the Promise Land. Nothing wore out, they never got sick, they defeated every enemy (when there wasn’t sin in the camp) and were wealthy spiritually and physically. I believe this is to be our portion today.
I began investigating this a bit further within the conversations I would have with people as they spoke of their sickness. There are two people I know off the top of my head that indicated their “sickness” came along within months of joining this ministry or almost simultaneously, fibromyalgia (40’s), thyroid cancer (20’s early 30’s). Within the last year or so there are two people that past away – one of cancer (late 40’s, early 50’s) and the other of a heart attack (about age 60-65). Recently I heard that a wife of one of the men working for this ministry recently received word that she has some form of breast cancer, she too has since past away sadly (late 30’s, early 40’s). My friend who had the thyroid cancer told me of this new case and that she thought that this is because of the ministry. God is speaking to others. I have not been involved with this ministry for at least 6 years now. This recent example with the wife was completely independent of anything she could have possibly heard from me, as I have no relationship with her.
I’ve not been silent with regard to what I believe the Lord’s been showing me, but it’s hard to be a voice when others don’t want to hear the message. Discernment is key, I definitely need much more of it. When the foundation of a house has been built with a tremendous crack in it, few people want to tear the house down and lay new foundation to build again. Either we will need to fix it or YHWH will fix it for us. It’s always better if we do it of our own fruition, at least that’s been my experience.
Before my departure from this ministry, I began investigating this theory by asking in our weekly meeting, “By a show of hands, who here is completely 100% healthy?” In a group of about 30 people, 3 people raised their hands. I was astounded because to me it should be the opposite. 3 out of 30 being sick should be more accurate for the people of God, if not 0 in 30.
My friend at “F” with the Thyroid cancer has since left the ministry under the Spirit’s leading. Since leaving, his health, family, and finances have increased. His energy levels are going up, normalized and God’s been blessing his business. He was skeptical of my theory at first, but now I believe he too would agree simply by the evidence of his own life and recovery of health. I shared my concerns with him over the past few years. Now others at “F” are waking up to the possibility that the bad health and other conditions are some how connected to this 501c3 corporation, completely independent of me sharing any of this perspective with them.
So what’s the difference? Why are we missing it? Many people simply chalk it up to “warfare” and the cost of being in ministry, etc. I don’t buy it. When God’s children walk in obedience the enemy can’t touch them/us. (Yes, the Job example is an exception. Yet that outcome ended up well on the other side of testing.)
I’ve spent time around several 501c3 corporations over the years. A repeated theme among them all is the leadership and employees alike are being attacked most commonly with some form of cancer or illness. I’ve sent my views on this perspective to ministries such as John Paul Jackson, Bethel and several others. My delivery definitely could have been better, that’s for sure. Forgive me for my lack of wisdom, compassion or thoughtlessness in my approach to convey this message. I tend to default to, “Just blow the trumpet! Sound the alarm!”
I simply HATE seeing God’s people taken out right before my very eyes. We have covenanted with this unholy, unrighteous, ungodly world governing system run by Satan, giving him right or access to afflict God’s people. It deeply stirs me to see this unnecessary attack happening, there needs to be a change. This is a “high places” issue and they need to be torn down. YHWH, please confirm this message according to Your heart and purposes to Your people. Whatever is incorrect or not accurate, let it burn up. Let the truth surface alone fully right now! I ask and pray in Jesus name.
I believe and hope this is righteous indignation similar to Jesus in the Temple courts, turning over tables. The Church is seemingly walking in a large amount of ignorance, arrogance or foolishness in this capacity, at least in the West. Satan’s having a “hay day” with the people of God and it’s completely unnecessary. We can do better, let’s take it up a level. What do you say Church? Shall we? Shall we play our part to hasten the day of the LORD’s return together?
In this journey I came across a section in 1 Samuel 5 where the Philistines captured the Ark of the Covenant. Nowhere else in the entire Bible, except Deuteronomy 28 does it talk of “tumors.”
Tumors as we all are aware are a form or is another name for cancer. Notice how little of a conversation piece this is in the Bible at large. Leprosy was a more concerning issue than cancer ever was. Let’s read the Word.
1Sa 5:2-12 NKJV
“When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon and set it by Dagon. And when the people of Ashdod arose early in the morning, there was Dagon, fallen on its face to the earth before the ark of the LORD. So they took Dagon and set it in its place again. And when they arose early the next morning, there was Dagon, fallen on its face to the ground before the ark of the LORD. The head of Dagon and both the palms of its hands [were] broken off on the threshold; only Dagon’s [torso] was left of it.
Therefore neither the priests of Dagon nor any who come into Dagon’s house tread on the threshold of Dagon in Ashdod to this day. But the hand of the LORD was heavy on the people of Ashdod, and He ravaged them and struck them with tumors, [both] Ashdod and its territory. And when the men of Ashdod saw how [it was], they said, “The ark of the God of Israel must not remain with us, for His hand is harsh toward us and Dagon our god.”
Therefore they sent and gathered to themselves all the lords of the Philistines, and said, “What shall we do with the ark of the God of Israel?” And they answered, “Let the ark of the God of Israel be carried away to Gath.” So they carried the ark of the God of Israel away. So it was, after they had carried it away, that the hand of the LORD was against the city with a very great destruction; and He struck the men of the city, both small and great, and tumors broke out on them.
Therefore they sent the ark of God to Ekron. So it was, as the ark of God came to Ekron, that the Ekronites cried out, saying, “They have brought the ark of the God of Israel to us, to kill us and our people!” So they sent and gathered together all the lords of the Philistines, and said, “Send away the ark of the God of Israel, and let it go back to its own place, so that it does not kill us and our people.” For there was a deadly destruction throughout the entire city; the hand of God was very heavy there. And the men who did not die were stricken with the tumors, and the cry of the city went up to heaven.”
In the example here in 1 Samuel the Philistines are mixing the Living God with a false god. God caused tumors to afflict the Philistines. Notice they were living normal “healthy” lives even though they served a false god. It wasn’t until they “mixed” the Living God with the false god that they began to die and suffer tumors/cancer. When they repented in a sense, by giving back the ark and sent gold with it to the Israelites the tumors left.
Let’s face it. The USA government at large, doesn’t completely serve Jesus. The USA government does serve Dagan, Molech, Baal, Mammon, along with a host of other false gods. Why are we as believers coming into “agreement” with this unholy nation and body of laws, when we are to be set a part from the nations of the world unto Y’shua. Not to mention even the laws of the land communicate we have the freedom not to. I suspect we would be well served to discontinue mixing the Living God with false gods.
It’s my belief that the 501c3 is an open door to the people of God, to be afflicted in various ways. Honestly, I don’t fully grasp it. I have no clue what the complete ramifications are regarding this 501c3 yoke? It’s well beyond my comprehension. All I know is something or somethings aren’t right, and I do know what I’ve seen.
I’ve also read that ungodly groups also incorporate with the 501c3 tax exempt status. You can Google all the ungodly, cults that are 501c3 as you see fit. Why are we putting ourselves in the same legal boat as them? Freedom of Religion is still suppose to exist in this nation. The Churches greatest hour is quickly approaching; let’s get ready in the full strength of the Most High God. We’re going to need Him.
Did you know? Monies the government receives from the 501c3 institutions a portion goes directly towards funding baby murder, infanticide, the slaughtering of the unborn (commonly referred to as abortion). In the world, not of the world. I can’t find anywhere in the gospels or Acts where any group of believers set up a “corporation ministry” in contract/covenant/agreement with the physical world governing bodies. Can you? There’s no way Jesus is going to show before the High Priest or Caesar and say, “Gentlemen, I’m about to start a little ministry called Kingdom of Heaven Corp. All I need is My Father, the Holy Spirit, Me, 11 other men with a lot of potential and 1 guy to betray me. You all … well you all just be you. Everything will work out just fine. Where do I sign for your approval?” No way. That’s never going to happen. We must come out of Babylon. The King is waiting for His Bride to do so…
The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come Lord Jesus, come!’
